Leonard D. Quick, M.D.

Dr. Leonard D. Quick, M.D.Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Leonard D. Quick is the Executive Director of Ohio Eye Associates. Prior to helping establish the Ohio Eye Associates Eye Surgery & Laser Center in 1987, he headed an ophthalmology practice started by his father, Dr. Carl Quick, in 1948. He is also an ophthalmic surgeon at MedCentral Health System.

Dr. Quick received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and received his residency training in ophthalmology at the Ohio State University College of Medicine.

In addition to outpatient cataract/implant surgery, Dr. Quick’s specialty interests include refractive cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange surgery, and glaucoma therapy.

Dr. Quick is also a member of several professional organizations, including:

Richard E. Selser, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Richard E. Selser, Jr., M.D.Dr. Richard E. Selser, Jr. is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing at Ohio Eye Associates and as an ophthalmic surgeon at MedCentral Health System since 2006. Previously, Dr. Selser practiced at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, where he was Associate Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Selser is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1981, and completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation. Dr. Selser also completed a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Michigan.

His specialty interests include cataract surgery, specialty implants, refractive lens exchange surgery, Lasik, corneal transplantation, DSEK, and glaucoma therapy.

He has previously served as the Medical Director, Vice President and President of The Southern Eye Bank. Dr. Selser also held academic appointments as an instructor at the University of Michigan and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University.

Dr. Selser is a member of several professional organizations, including:

Dr. Selser was named one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists” by the Consumer Research Council of America. He was also awarded “Best Doctors in America” distinction in 2009.

Richard F. Marquardt, O.D.

Dr. Richard F. Marquardt, O.D.Dr. Richard Marquardt is a certified optometrist practicing at Ohio Eye Associates since 1997. He also holds clinical privileges at MedCentral Health Systems and is a member of the clinical faculty at Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Dr. Marquardt received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in Columbus. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology from John Carroll University.

As an active member of the optometry community, Dr. Marquardt is involved with several professional organizations, including:

Gary L. Rogers, M.D.

DDr. Gary L. Rogers, M.D.r. Gary L. Rogers is a board-certified ophthalmologist in practice since 1974 and currently providing comprehensive care at Ohio Eye Associates and at Pediatric Ophthalmology Associates.

Dr. Rogers received his medical degree from Ohio State University, and completed his internship and ophthalmology residency training at Mt. Sinai Hospital. He then furthered his training by completing a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at the Children’s Hospital in Washington, DC.

He is a past President of the Ohio Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Rogers currently serves as a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and on the Peer Review Panel for the Journal of Impairment and Blindness.

Throughout his practice experience, Dr. Rogers’ work has appeared in over one hundred publications and been presented at conferences and society meetings across the country. He continues to perform ophthalmology research and has received numerous grants for his work.
