Dr. John A. Burns is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 40 years of practice experience, currently practicing at Ohio Eye Associates and serving as a Clinical Professor at Ohio State University, where he has taught young students since 1969. Dr. Burns has been a recipient of the Best Doctors in America Award every year since 1999.
Dr. Burns received his medical degree and was awarded the Eli Alcon Award for The Outstanding Student in Ophthalmology from Ohio State University. He also completed his residency training in Ophthalmology there, serving as Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Burns also furthered his training by completing a fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital.
Dedicated to the field of Ophthalmology, Dr. Burns has attended countless society meetings and conferences to remain on the cutting edge of the latest developments and technologies. He has also lectured extensively at Ohio State University and across the country on a wide range of ophthalmology topics. Dr. Burns’ work has appeared in publications, book chapters and articles throughout his practice experience.

He is also the Board Chairman of The Ohio Health Group.

Dr. Kelly R. Everman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist currently practicing at Ohio Eye Associates and Ophthalmic Surgeons and Consultants of Ohio, Inc.
Dr. Everman received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed an internship in internal medicine and pediatrics, as well as his residency training in ophthalmology at Indiana University, serving as Chief Resident during his final year. He then completed a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, Inc., Interface Aesthetic Surgery Group and the Indiana University Department of Ophthalmology. He currently serves as an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at the Ohio State University helping to train the next generation of surgeons.

Board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Craig N. Czyz provides oculoplastic ophthalmology services at Ohio Eye Associates, and also serves as the Division Chief for Ophthalmology and Section Head of Oculofacial Plastic Surgery at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital.
Dr. Czyz graduated with his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, before specializing in ophthalmology during his residency at Ohio Health – Doctors Hospital/Ohio University, serving as Chief Resident during his final year. Dr. Czyz also served as a Research Fellow in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Plastic Surgery Ohio, during which time he received the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.

Dr. Melissa McRae is a board certified physician specializing in family medicine and non-surgical aesthetic medicine. She graduated from Ohio University with honors, and then attended Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine where she also graduated with honors. During her final year of residency, she served as Chief Resident at Doctors Hospital in Stark County, Ohio. She received several awards such as most outstanding family practice in her program, most outstanding family practice resident in the state of Ohio, and also the Dean’s Award from Ohio University. She continues serving her profession by training family medicine students and residents in her office.
Dr. McRae has been serving her cosmetic patients for over 6 years and treats patients from more than 4 counties. She is the largest provider of Botox cosmetic and Dermal Fillers (Juvederm and Restylane/Perlane) in north central Ohio. Dr. McRae has a reputation that is built on listening to patient’s needs and designing a cosmetic treatment regimen that best suits the expected goals.
