Emily Amweg OD
Dr. Emily Amweg received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from The Ohio State University in 2011. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Following graduation, she began her career with Ohio Eye Associates in 2017. She is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Ohio Optometric Association. She is also an associated faculty member of The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Dr. Amweg was raised in Dublin, Ohio. She has many family ties to Morrow County and currently resides in Marengo, Ohio with her husband and their son. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her family and their German Shepard.
Dr. Amweg enjoys working with patients of all ages but especially with children. She has special interests in the treatment of dry eye syndrome and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease including diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. She enjoys providing quality, comprehensive eye care to the Mt. Gilead community.
