Haina Patel OD, FAAO
Dr. Patel received her Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 2013. She then attended the SUNY College of Optometry in New York City, where she graduated in 2017. As a student, Dr. Patel was a member of the Lions Club, and volunteered to provide vision screenings at a local homeless shelter and the Special Olympics. She was also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Following graduation, Dr. Patel completed a residency specializing in ocular disease through The Ohio State University College of Optometry and has been practicing at Ohio Eye Associates since 2020.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Patel strongly believes in delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to all her patients. Her interests include managing diseases such as dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Patel is a native of Toronto, Canada, and is passionate about traveling and trying new foods from around the world, but her biggest joy is being a mother to her son. She currently resides in Delaware with her husband, Dr. Pratik Patel, who practices at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. She looks forward to serving the Mansfield community.
