
Matthew Olson OD
Dr. Matthew Olson was born, raised, and resides in Richland County. Dr. Olson knew he wanted to be an optometrist since his time at Clear Fork High School. When he isn’t seeing patients, he enjoys the outdoors, watching local sports and Ohio State football, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Olson received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University in 2015. Following graduation, he moved to California in pursuit of his Doctorate of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Science’s College of Optometry where he graduated in May 2019. He began his optometric career at Ohio Eye Associates in 2019.
Dr. Olson is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association. He is a member of the clinical faculty for The Ohio State University College of Optometry and holds clinical privileges at Ohio Health Mansfield. His interests include specialty contact lenses and the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, including dry eye syndrome, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma.
Being a lifelong resident of Richland County, Dr. Olson believes in the importance of establishing a relationship with his patients and looks forward to providing the community with quality and comprehensive eye care.
