Sara N. Sanders, OD

Dr. Sanders received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from The Ohio State University in 2012. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at The Ohio State University in 2016. After graduation she completed a residency specializing in ocular disease at the Columbus and Chillicothe Department of Veterans Affairs. She has been providing care for the Mount Vernon area since 2017. Dr. Sanders joined Ohio Eye Associates in 2025.

She is a member of the American Optometric Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Her professional interests include treatment and management of ocular disease including glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

In her spare time Dr. Sanders enjoys traveling with her husband Nic, trying new restaurants and curling (yes, that crazy winter Olympic sport).
